この映像は筋ジストロフィー患者の支援活動をしているデュオ「みかひと」の三島一浩氏が作成した啓発VTRです。
そのBGMに私の「New Steps Forward」を使ってくださいました。
詳細を申し上げると、2007年に三島さんが筋ジス患者のTさんの詩で作った曲を見て、英訳できそうだと思って作ったものです。
英語なのでインタビューの邪魔をせず、ちょうどいいかもしれません。

The lyrics is by a patient of muscular distrophy, who had been friends with Mishima.
In 2007, I read this song and decided that it could be sung in English, too -and translated and sang.
As a result, this is the first song of mine that is on YouTube.
